You can get the same look and feel as leather, but without any animal products.

Water Based Polyurethane (PU) Leather

Don't worry, no animals were harmed in the making of our vegan leather wallet cases. Our leather cases are made with water-based polyurethane (PU) leather. PU leather is a fantastic alternative to real leather because it provides all the same comfort and style of real leather but with none of the guilty conscious. Not only is PU leather vegan, cruelty-free, and better for the environment, but it is also a more safe and durable fabric altogether. This scratch-resistant material is pollution-free as it contains none of the toxic chemicals and VOCs found in traditional leather.

Polycarbonate (PC) Plastic

Our clear cases are made from polycarbonate (PC) plastic. PU plastic is one of the strongest plastics available and is often used as an alternative to glass due to its transparency. Despite its sturdy build, this plastic is lightweight and fully recyclable. By using recyclable plastic, we are able to reduce gas emissions used to make products and reduce the amount of waste that makes it into landfills.

Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) Plastic

We also use Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU) in our products. This type of plastic is known in the industry for being extremely wear-resistant, having high transparency, and having high elasticity, making it perfect for protecting your devices. Thanks to its molecular makeup, this plastic is great for the environment because it can be melted and reused continuously without losing any of its great properties. Not only is this type of plastic highly durable and recyclable, but it is also biodegradable so double points for us on the sustainability end, hell ya!

How is Plastic Recycled?

Recycling is one of the most important steps we can take toward creating a more sustainable future. Recycling plastic can have a much greater impact than directly reducing waste. By recycling plastics, you are also helping to reduce emissions of harmful gases that contribute to the GHG effect. When more plastic is recycled, less power goes into gathering, transporting, and preparing material to make new plastic.

More than 300 million cell phone users in North America purchase an estimated 1 million accessories every day, many of them produced with a cheap-and-disposable mentality. Our ultra-reliable phone cases and accessories don’t compromise on quality, value, price or the environment.

Paper Based Packaging

Our commitment to sustainability doesn't stop at our products, we have proudly completely eliminated single-use plastics from all of our packaging. Go ahead and recycle all of your Caseco packaging since it’s made of 100% recyclable uncoated paper! Don't worry because even if our packaging does end up in landfills (shame on you how dare you not recycle), it’s completely biodegradable so it won't leave any harm to the environment.

Soy Ink

We only use plant-based soy ink to print on our packaging. You heard that right, soy ink! Soy ink is a renewable alternative to other types of ink as growing soybeans is much more environmentally friendly than extracting petroleum. This ink is not only biodegradable due to its natural source, but less of it is required to print out the same amount of printouts compared to other inks. Soy ink is also much easier to remove from packages when they are being recycled meaning that even more energy is being saved by using soy ink.
